Default Mustad Line

I forgot to mention while searching for a new line I bought 2 pks of the Mustad Thor ultra line 14 &17lb.test. Â*I have not used it yet but it looks pretty good. The diameter is .015 for 17lb test. The line has no memory to it when unspooled out , it lays flat with no curls or twists. I also bought 2 pks of the Sufix line 1 siege 14lb and 1 Elite spool 12 lb test. The seem pretty good, the line looks thicker than normal but it casts well out on the snow in the yard even in 12 degree weather it has very little memory curling slightly off from the reel. Keep us posted, PnJ. I'll be interested to see how they handle.

Snow and 12 degrees? Come on down, buddy-it will be in the 70s this weekend here.

PNJ,
Definitely tell us how the line works for you. That is great that there is no curl when u unspool it. I have a ton of old line that probably isn't good for much.

Rebasser,

I haven't heard the weather yet, but i hope you are right about being in the 70's. I had to put socks and shoes on today!! The wind was soooo awful.

Supposed to be cold again tomorrow but start warming up on Thurs. It's still snowing in the panhandle, though.
