Clear water my best luck have been on the 6-inch Watermelon Blackflake, Black w/Blueflake, and just plain Watermelon. Rigged Texas w/out a weight and/or Wacky Worm.

I love using a green pumpkin or watermelon with red and blue flake. I use a 3/0 offset hook and normally fish weightless or with really light weight. Good luck to ya.

In clear water, a great color is pumpkin w/ green and purple fleck. I fish them weightless (usually a 5 inch with a 3/0 gammy). Please note that I am not referring to GREEN PUMPKIN, as it has already been mentioned. Other good colors are cinnamon, red w/ red and black fleck, and plum. I usually fish the 5 inch because you get great distance on the cast. This is a great bait once you figure out how to fish it......and there are many ways to fish it. Good Luck!
