Ey fellas,

Im about to buy this reel/rod combo and just wanted to know if it is actually worth the money im gonna pay for it... If not please suggest a good rod/reel combo..

That's a chunk of change. If you are going to BPS check out the Extreme combo. The Extreme is a lot of reel for the $$-I have quite a few of them and they do the job. But, as I have said many times, use what works for YOU, not somebody else.

i have the johhny morris signature series rod.it is awesome.tackle tour reviewed the previous years johnny morris reel and liked it.the one you are getting has a stronger drag and better finish.other than that it's the same reel.enjoy your new combo.

There you go. If Dodge says it is a good reel you can take it to the bank. There are several guys on the different forums I go to that I will take their recommendation no questions asked. Dodge is one of them.
