Lately I've been going to this quiet cove at the lake and normally see 50 fish jump, normally get tons of strikes, normally catch some. Some idiot decided to go horseback riding down there and they kraped all over the place. Since this, the fish have stop hitting jumpping biting. Can this smell drive them away.
I'm thinking it can. Almost drove me away |

i've seen horses and cows crap in ponds for years, it doesn't effect the fishing, although all that stomping around makes the water muddy.
One place I go to got rid of all thier livestock and now thier pond is so clear its getting chocked out by hyrilla |

I've caught bass close to where people swim. You can probably guess kids pee in the water and maybe some babies do do-do too. I hit those spots a little after people are done swimming and catch them. I know you asked about animals and sometimes these people have their dogs in the water. So my guess is something else caused them to turn off.
