Default Pop-R Feathers

The feathers and string came off on my Rebel Pop-R. I've only caught about 15 fish on it. Is there any way I can replace them?

Also- The Pop-R seems to work well around grass. A lot of the time a bass will dive into the grass and come off. Do you have any ideas to make the Pop-R weedless?
Thanks!

If you know anyone with a bird or have access to nest areas you can gather small tailer feathers and then use line to wrap around the treble hooks, then glue. We have chickens and peacocks at one of the places I fish and when ever I need popR feathers they arent hard to find...plus I think the real feathers give more action.. You may find thread better to use or fly tying thread for wrapping the feathers on the shank of the rear treble hook..its a pretty easy task.

Thank JB. I think the feathers give me a boost of confidence even though I caught my best bass without the feathers.

i use gammy's "dressed" trebles.. i prefure buck tail tied on my rear treble hooks as it is much more durable..

ya can't make it weedless.. ya need to pull them out of the weeds faster. tighten your drag

ya don't glue them you TIE feathers or buck tail teasers.. the best thing for you to use is clear fingernail polish..using thread ya have to make a small knot to the hook shank first than adding hair wrap it several times a knot around the hook shank again-it's hard to describe-after that using clear nail polish coat the threaded area only.. allow 24 hours to completely dry as it will be getting wet..
