Anyone try the new Crystal line yet?Thinking of buying some but before I do I'd like some other opinions.

It has not received rave reviews in the field. I've inspected it and rejected it.
Besides, when using braid for all but spinner, buzz, and toads, I use a purpose-made P-Line flouro leader. Frankly, since the disappointments I endured with Vanish Transition, I've NOT been a Berkley lover. They have, however, released a new fluoro line that may be their redemption in that genre. The name escapes me at the moment. FR |

I've been using it since last August. Very stiff line as compared to Power Pro but works really well cutting through grass on the Potomac. I throw Horney Toads with it and it works for me. Very solid hook sets. No it does not disappear but I have caught bass in very, very clear water on it when I was first using it.

I've had the same old knot slipping problems like I did with regular fireline.
