Default things you notice when you get up at 3am

dam it is dark out there..
the dog snores
almost as bad as the old lady does
dogs can sleep in some odd positions
spiders can make some nice webs. to bad i walked thru it face first.
so this is what the town looks like with the streets rolled up...even biscuitville is closed.
halapino and steak fihitas with a red bull chaser is breakfast food at 4 am.
betting on the latino foot races caused by a baby possum..-and losing money-
seeing the sunrise over the lumber yard with 14 gals 5 guys and one undeceided.
being told that the darkness has a "slimming" effect on ones profile.by a pregnant woman...don't look at me it aint mine-thank god-
noting that you can't tell a red tums from a green one by taste alone-see above to see why-
catching up on your sleep by napping on a cold steel table is good for your back..

heading for bed at 8 pm knowing that 3 am tomarrow ya got to do it again..


thought i would just make a list. now you know how much FUN i have working them long shifts..

When i get up at 3AM, pretty much one day a week, I notice absolutely nothing after that initial 30 minutes as i get the boat ready. After that i'm in a zone untill i get to the bait shop, then again untill i get to the landing. After that i'm wide awake taking in the true beauty of the natural surroundings, and anticipating a full day of fishing[or hunting depending on the time of year].

3am is a good fishing time, along with 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12am, and not forgetting, 1, and 2 am also. However I must say that 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 pm are also good fishing times too. Too bad we gotta work during all those great fishing times. It would be nice to hit the lottery, anyone wanna guess what I'd be doing "ALL THE TIME".

I been workin the 6-11+ shift at a restaraunt, and the 7-3ish at an a/c company.....I'd like to get a midnight to 8 am shift, but can't really find anywhere to get one.....once school starts back up, less work, more time in the woods and on the water.....
