Default Pike picture -

If you recall my post of a week or two ago, My son and I found a dead pike, 36 inches, in the large pond we fish. Jr. was so scared he quit fishing for the day. Well, yesterday on a texas rigged, weightless Senko he caught the fish pictured below. It was in a different pond. It gave a helluva fight, peeling drag, ran under the canoe - long story short - Jr is over his pike phobia. that's my dad in the picture...

excellent. that thing must have given ya a really big tussel. catching any fish that big is all excitement and adrenlin. thanks for sharing your pic too.
keep up the good work, i enjoying see pictures to go along with a catch.

Looks like your son had a wonderful time. Thats fantastic. And I bet dad and gramps are pretty darn proud of him too! Way to go dad. It's an experience he will never forget.

Great job, I've never caught a pike and I live in Major pike territory. Me and my dad and a couple of his buddies are going musky fishing this fall. anyways, great job, and tell Jr. Congrats!!
