Im looking for a box to store maybe 2 jars of pork and a half dozen jigs. Anybody know if pork will fit in a plano 3705 or 3630 box 2" deep???
I like using plano 3730s for tackle but I dont fish jigs much at all. Last edited by robbor; 08-24-07 at 03:55 AM. |

robbor, take a look at the plastic trailers-Zoom chunks, Yum chunks-a lot less messy and easier to use than pork. The only time I use pork is in real cold water, like less than 50 degrees, which isn't too common in south Texas.

I'd agree with Rebbasser. I have switched to the chunks and have had just as much success, but without the hassles of the pork. it seems like I can never get my hooks out of the pork

I knew someone who had a big tackle box that came with a spinnerbait box, and he didn't belive in the success of spinnerbaits, so he just throws all his jigs in the spinnerbait box with the dividers removed. I guess it'd work, but I have my spinnerbait ox full of Buzz's and spinner baits.
