LGMouth can be finacky at times. The topwater bite was almost non existant tonight and one fish broke off deep in the pads and a few just swiped with out conviction and or malice. So I conclude from tonights back water trip that LGMouth are done for the year unless we get a cold front and a warm-up. High skies always spell a tough trip but add winds south east 15 to 20 and you have the making of a skunk.. No worries as the crappie do not follow the rules of LGMouth. Small white clousers saved the evening tonight,

Yup capt, the largemouth bite up here is off now until it gets into the fall. At least you got some other good fishin' to do!
