Expectations run high when our clients depart the ramp at the Marsh and for the most part those expectations are met and even passed. October on is going to be the right time.
Timing counts obviously but it's not as critical as the abundance of bass and the large amount of big ones make most days successful ones. Not everyone is going to haul in a lunker but odds are you will. However, if you're not here it can't happen. One more cast can make the difference. The fish below blew on the first cast and inhaled the bait on the second. The season is here. Don't let it go by without you. See you on the water.

Ah, that's awesome.
How is the water level there at some of the ramps? I know a few months back a few buddy's of mine were saying it was pretty low, preventing some people from even getting in. We've been getting some rain lately so maybe that might have helped? Also since you live in that area, do you have any recommendations for any nearby fishcamps or places to stay? Thanks! |

Closest place to stay is either going to be Sebastian or Palm Bay. Don't remember off the top of my head if Fellsmere has a motel or not.

Anyone that told you that the Marsh was too low or even too close to low to easily launch during the last years drought was totally wrong. We are one of the few lakes down here that had more than enough water at the ramp.
The lake is presently at high level. Lodging: http://www.imaginationbassin.com/Mot...%20Resorts.htm
