Kyle and I hit Riverhill again today, with 5-10 MPH winds and very clear water and skies at 1:30 PM. We ended up with 14 total, 7 each. Here is Kyles first bass today, with some unbelievable color...never seen anything like it before.
Caught on a baby brush hog ![]() We catch a few, 1-2 pounders on crankbaits here and there, then we drift into a shallow cove. I still had my crankbait on, so i cast near the bank and wind in slowly so I would'nt get caught on weeds, and this fish hit HARD. Hog! ![]() ![]() We troll around for a bit, and as we pass a group of golfers we get a double hook up, at exactly the same time. They were both the same size, but I let mine go to help Kyle unhook his. ![]() We caught a couple more, and were off the water by 6:30. tb |
