Default Econ River Paddle 11-19

Me and friend decided to paddle the rivers mid section (between 419 and Snowhill for us local locals. Saw lots of wildlife: 4 herons, too many turtles to count, 3 ducks, 10 gators (one estimated at 9ft.), catfish, hawks, scare crows. Took us about 4hrs. to do the whole thing, including a couple of stops to stretch or empty the bilge pumps. I think next time we'll go all the way to the St. Johns out on SR46.

No fish caught though, even though poles were aboard

Our ride for the day

One of many "Road Blocks" only had to portage twice though

Lots of "bent" palms

Looks like a beautiful area there... minus the gators. Sure looks fishy, surprised you didnt catch anything.
