I'm looking to use a few more swimbaits this next year and I was wondering what you guys favorite brand is. I've used the storms and they are ok but I'm looking for something alittle different. Also I don't want anything I can't cast with a 7ft MH pole and bps extreme reel. Maybe something of similar size to the basstrix however obviously not as pricy or hard to find

swimbaits have given me a mixed feelings about swimbaits.I had really good results using a 4" megabait chubby series swimbait, but they were discontinued.I bought a Bass harrasser 8 " trout bait and the only takers were 3 big lake trout, but no bass. There was a couple of followers with it, the bass were clearly big enough to eat it, but for some reason, they did not. I will stick with the smaller baits once I run through the pile of Megabaits I still have. P N J

I've had pretty good luck with optimum swimbaits lately.

Ive been using Tsunami 6" and Berkley 6". In either shad color or gold/tan. Having really good luck with them.
If Im going after more fish vs. bigger fish Ill down size to a 4" Berkley.
