Hey everybody, i've been thinking about going down to Port A. and try to do some kayak fishing offshore... Does anybody have experience? Is it hard to land a big fish in the yak? Does the fish pull you forever??? thanks a bunch.. -texasfisherman

though i rarely mention it here..i do use a yak in the salt water. basicly cause the water is so shallow ya can't really even get around in the marshes with a jon boat..
on mine i have a x135 map/sonar hooked up on it. an anchor system.. my yak is a 16 foot malibu extreme when we fish the salt it is a good idea to work with several others. got a love a bottom rig.. catching large fish such as this bull drum from a yak is fun and a challenge the only thing i may add to my yak is one of these led stip lights. like my buddy has on his ride -they are SWEET-.. zooker
