Just out of curiosity, does anyone on here use Fly rods for Bass fishing? I was really looking into getting one, and just was interesting in getting some input

Yes I used flyrods for bass. I wouldn't say that the flyrod contributes to me catching more, but for the enjoyment of it I will often take a flyrod along. I see you are in Florida, so use topwater popping bugs and surface flies. Larger rods are better, 6-8 wts I would say. They are better on smaller water, so local creeks and freeflowing rivers would be a good place to give one a try. Don't spend too much, you don't need to.

yes i use a fly rod occasionally but i have found that i have better success with a fly rod in clear water, better than if i use conventional tackle. for flies keep it simple, poppers, wooley bugger patterns in black and olive.
