I have one and I like it. I have it on my flippin' stick. It is the same thing as a Citica with one (or so?) less bearing. I have both and don't notice any difference; it's been a really good reel for me.

I have 4 of them over a year old and no problems. I do strip them down and clean/lube them once or twice a year depending on how bad the weather is and how bored I am. With the weather lately, been cleaning some reels.

I have 4 Cruxis, 4 Citicas and 1 Curado. I must say the Citicas and Curado are somewhat smoother. If I were buying reel(s) now with the Shimano rebate going on, I would go with the Citica over the other 2. After the rebate, would only be about $10 difference in the Cruxis and the Citica. I can't feel enough difference in the Citica and the Curado to justify the extra cost of the Curado.

THESE ARE JUST MY OPINION AND ARE NOT BASED ON ANY SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH.
