Default SnapBack plastics

I was going thru a old box of plastics and came across a few bags of Snap Back tubes they look like a great tube and if I remember they floated. But one thing I remember for sure was that they didnt like heat, they melted in the package and in my boat also werent that easy to clean up!Do they still make these and if they do are they any better than the first models they released?

I've never heard of them. As for improving the old soft plastic, most companies have. Although almost every tackle box you buy now days will be plastic proof.

I'm not crazy about the Gulp plastic's. After they get wet they shrivel up like a dried up tater. I would rathor use the old school powerbait than that stuff. I've got some old worm rigs grandpa made almost 30 yrs ago. You know with the little brass props and beads. All those worm rigs are old creme paddle tail worms in red. These are'nt premade you can tell by the way there made no 2 are the same. Mention tackle boxes i've an old school Hawethorne steel tackle box with 3 shelves. I've another one that is a greenish grey with 2 shelves. That i might try selling. I wonder if those old plastic lures survived because grandpa lined those boxes with wax paper.

Chubs last time I saw Snap Back tubes I was buying them at Wal-Mart 3 years ago on their discount rack. Strike King still makes some of their 3X plastic baits that are the same material.

i seen a few bags of snap backs for sale on the internet somewhere the other day. might have been on this site in the classifieds, or may have been on ebay not sure. anyways, when the 3x came out i bought a ton of them, all styles and colors. not really a big fan though, i had trouble sticking fish with them. i blamed it on the material being so "gummy" that it balled up on the hook but it could have been something else (easier to blame it on something else than to think i could be doing something wrong). as for gulp, it will catch fish but i hate it for the same reason stated above. besides somethings just can't be improved and i consider powerbait one of those things.

Green Top in Ashland, VA still sells them (the brand). Saw them a couple weeks ago. Don't know if they were tubes. Just remember seeing the packaging.
