Anybody ever played with this reel? I'm looking for a reel for my Flippin'/Pithcin' stick and I like the gear ratio and price of this reel. Here's the link for ya':

I had one and sold it within a weeks time. The drag is extremely smooth, but it was too light for pulling bass out, when flipping and pitching.I had to crank the snot out of the drag to tighten down enough to pull them out of heavy cover and even then they took drag. It is just my opinion, but the Shimano HEG system is better suited for flipping and pitchin. It hurts me to say it, because I was always preaching Daiwa products for years, until as of lately.

Daiwa reels are great. probably my favorite for baitcasters. I don't really think you could go wrong with a Daiwa baitcasting reel. Just like a Shimano Spinning reel.
