Was reading old posts to find a good line for topwater baits. From what I could find I was going to get Trilene XL but picked up XT instead. Should I return it or is it ok to use for topwater hard baits?

Bob, It should work ok.I don't think there is much of a difference between the 2 lines to worry about it.XL might have a bit more stretch, but, not enough to be alarmed about.

If I had grabbed EITHER of those, I'd take them back and get some Stren Original Mono. It's got less memory than Trilene XL and is just as tough as Trilene XT.
