OK Guys, I'm doin' a little survey of all the members tackle, boats, money in tackle, etc. If everyone who reads this would contribute, that would be great. Here's what I need...
1. How many rods you currently own and are in good working order for bass fishing... I.e. -- Ten 2. How many rods you normally take on the boat with you bass fishing... I.e. -- Eight 3. How many bags of plastics that you currently own and will use... I.e. -- Fifty-two 4. How many tackle bags you own that currently hold bass tackle... I.e. -- Six 5. How much money you have in all your bass tackle combined, (about). This includes: rods, reels, lures, line, bags, etc. This excludes: boat, gas, truck, etc. I.e. -- $4,000.00 6. Do you own a boat? Yes or No? I.e. -- No 7. Number of days you spend on, or off (shore), the water bass fishing. I.e. -- 100-130 8. Your location regionally. I.e. -- Mid-West, South -OR- Western, North 9. You can also add a comment as to how you would describe your bass career. Make it short and sweet. I.e. -- "Almost Pro" -OR- "Just Startin'" -OR- "Above Average" Thanks Guys!, -Lunk- ![]()

I carry 7 rods on the boat, one spinning and 6 baitcasters. I have about 100 bucks in each reel and anywhere from 100-188 for rods (all star n bionicblades)
Probably have about 300 bags of plastics , tubes, worms, soft jerkbaits, creature baits, frogs, senkos, ribbon tail worms, scented stick worms, trick worms. I carry one tray filled with rogues, probably 150 in that one, then 2 crankbait plano trays, try to keep about 8 in a section of same size n colors etc, like one may be all the mag traps, the next the reg size trap, then the 1/4 size, then even more anal is the mag traps in alewife, the regs in rayburn red, and the 1/4 s in crome. I try to keep about 3 of each size, and thanks pnj for stocking me up on the raybornreds. The next box is full of topwater..i have about 120 popRs of dif colors, sizes, and paint jobs. I have about all the traditional top water, like torpedo, buzzbait, spooks , and rapala topwater.. probably have about 30 of those types on the top of the one tacklebox I 've had for 18 years, is about 50 spinnerbaits..i used to make them and carry about 300, but got ripped off at middlefork while cleaning crappie, someone got them out of the boat. So now i have 50 or so that I know I have caught fish on over the years..some are 15 years old and are on thier 100th skirt . throw in some lunkersauce on the top deck, some scales, and pliers, knifes, side cutters. The top container has all my weights, hooks, jigs. pork and trailers. The box weighs in at 78 lbs. trust me , theres plenty of guys in here that have 25 times this amount, but hey, i had two kids in college and a wedding LOL |
