i used to really like hank parker, but i can't get his show anymore. so i really don't have a favorite anymore. the shows i see now do not teach any new ways to fish to me. it has seemed to go more hollywood i think.

ESPN's coverage of B.A.S.S. tournaments. I like the on-the-water coverage and the commentary by Sanders and Zona. I learn a lot from these shows and they're entertaining.

Angling Edge and In-fisherman are, by far the most instructive. However, I love to watch them all except Fishing University with Charlie Ingram. He contradicts himself alot and he's just not that good. I'm pretty sick of Roland Martin's show too, it's like an infomercial.

I love to watch Al Linder.I get pumped to fish just listening to him.He reminds alot of Ted Nugent on his show.He is so enthusiastic and passionate about hunting.Al is the same way. After watching his show i feel the need to load up the fishing gear.

before it was cancelled I liked Loudmouth Bass, I watch A Day on the Lake and UMF. I would have done the college edition when I was at Baylor but I didnt get the application in on time.

I love watching that show. He's one of those guys you love to hate. I'm sure you feel the same as me... I'd outfish him on my worst day.

I am rather fond of Zona's "World's Greatest Fishing Show" It's simple, and funny, and he lays down some good tips.

I like to watch just about anyone fish but probably favor Al Linder and Jimmy
Houston. Some of the shows have become just commercials so I don't watch them anymore. Also the Bassmasters has become too Hollywood for me. I enjoy fishing for the sport not the glamor. |

Great choices Mike. I fly fish although not in the Salt but I really like both those shows. The channel changer gets a rest when those two shows come on. Flip Pallot and Jose Wejebe (sp?) are the real deal in my opinion.

I like watching The Bass Pros, Hank Parker, and One More Cast with Shaw Grigsby. All of these shows are very informative. As for the Charley Moore show, i also hate the show, and do not watch it. I think the guy could be easily beat by a weekend angler.

I would have to go with Shaw and Hank for bass and for pure entertainment purposes "The hunt for big fish" with Larry Dahlberg. He goes for the weird stuff in places you generally do not hear much about fishing..at least on TV.

Has anybody seen a show called "City Limits?" Both episodes I've seen have Mike Iaconelli (sp?) as host, with a local guide fishing with him. They can't get outside the city limits while fishing. I saw the New York episode and the Washington DC episode only.
Pretty entertaining, especially with crazy Mike. |
