Hard Water Fishing

Got out last weekend. We went out on saturday. Caught two small perch and one keeper. Then, we switched to the smaller of the two reservoirs we were fishing. I put my depth sounder on to find the bottom. While I was feeding out line, my line went diagonal under the ice. I ended up catching a 2-2.5 lb bass. Crazy. i was just lucky he actually got ahold of my ice jig's tiny hook.

We talked ot a couple of guys who had underwater cameras. So that night when we went ot Cabela's to get Minnows, we bought one. Then next day we went back. We were both surprised to see how many perch there were in there. We ended the day with 4 keeper perch, 3 smaller ones, and a crayfish I pulled up when I saw it grab my minnow on the camera.
