Default Think your day at work sucked?

I'd hate to be the crane operator. Can't you just hear the phone conversation he had with his boss?
"Hey, boss? Yeah, it's Gary. Hey, listen, we had a slight issue with the crane this morning. Oh, no, nothing major. Something slipped a little bit, I think. Hey, listen...your insurance is current, right?"

wish that would happen to a few of the big play boats on table rock, plus it would be great structure to drag a jig over too.

It wasn't rigged? Look at the second pic on the right; they just happened to snap the picture precisely when the boat fell. A boat of that magnitude would have fallen a hell of a lot faster than the reaction of that human!

LL, if they were taking the pictures as the boat was beign lowered into the water, their camera would be at the ready, and with a good camera, you can get shots like that easily. Like the camera's that take rapid movement shots. They us ethem a lot in sports and stuff. But We have am Old Cannon AE-1 Program. It's and old manual camera that with an autowinder, it can take rapid shots too. Wouldn't be that hard to get that picture.

i don't think they did it on purpose.....notice the gas and oil around the boat in the bottom picture? why would they intentionally do this with a boat full of gas and oil? on a side note what the hell are the two people doing in the water? i seriously doubt they were riding in the boat on the crane.

Two things...first, if I had just bought that boat, you can bet I would be filming it as it hit the water for the first time. Those could be stills pulled from video, although the pictures are awful clear for that. But if I remember right from the days I did that kind of work, video is 30 frames/second, so I guess it could be that clear.

Second, if you enlarge the second pic, there is a guy on the boat. Not sure the crane operator should have let that happen, but apparently he did. Bet that was a scary ride!

Yes i agree!!! I think they should limit boat size. With BPS Mr Morris is trying to get a horse power restriction lifted on lake jacomo. I hope it does'nt happen. Them big boat have already messed up Blue springs lake. Lake jacomo is not the best fisherie in the world. But it's quiet & peaceful. Last thing i want are big boat on my quiet little lake.

MR morris needs to keep out of local politics. When his BPS in 5 yrs has to start paying taxes then i feel he has some say in local a fairs. Until then i feel he needs to set quiet.
