This isn't much of a report. I just wanted to share some of the better catch my friends and I caught last season.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufa3980NiIc I still can't get over the size of this fish. I good friend of mine who recently got involved in bass fishing the last couple of years had an awesome year last season with 3 bass over 10lbs with two going over 13#. I can't remember the exact weight, but this fish was 15+ pounds. Congrats Jimmy (jbone). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Sinjin Kim; 04-14-08 at 09:52 AM. |

Sinjin, did these bass come out of Lake Castaic or other impoundments in southern California? Good bye, Florida, hello California in my search for a bass over 10#'s. Do you fella's use guides or just do this on your own? The one picture has a July 4th date on it. Are you actually catching fish like this at that time of year ? I'll be dreaming about these fish for weeks!

The pics of the fish were caught at 3 lakes: Lake Perris, Castaic Lake and Castaic Lagoon (after bay of Castaic Lake). |
