My dog just got hit by a skunk. What is the best thing to get rid of the smell? I heard tomato juice. I need a gas mask.

bath the animal in a mix of vinegar and water, then try tomtoe juice, and expect to smell it for about 6 weeks.

Thanks guys. So glad it's warm now. She'll be staying outside for awhile.

Had that happen to my dog a cuple of years back. I got some of the stuff from a pet store-it helped, but unfortunately it will just have to wear off
