My depth finder (hummingbird Matrix12) will not read at any speed above idle speed. The transducer is mounted low on my transom. Any suggestions

How low? I had a similar problem-repositioned it at the lowest point on the transom and no more problem.

Try turning the ping speed all the way up when you're running on plane, and then turn the sensitivity down to 40 or 60%. This sould cute down on unwanted noise/interferience. Good fishin
