When: Sunday, April 27, 2008
Where: Lake Casablanca State Park Time: 7:30 a.m-2:00 p.m Results: Nothing for the first couple of hours. THe water temp was about 75 F; I tried topwater, senkos, cranks, and spinners. No luck. At about 9:45 winds started to pick up, a storm was predicted for the area, so I decided to throw out a spinnerbait. I got a couple of bites, but one stood out the most. I was checking my fish finder, when a HUGE bite occured, I was not ready, and did not set the hook on time. After that, nothing happened. However, my Dad and Friend both caught one channel catfish each. Once agained I am slumped by Casablanca (whitehouse). -stevo
