Well we went up and fished the bullseye tournment on sunday the 27th.....there were 30 boats entered......with the cold front that moved in i thought for sure it was going to be alot tuffer....this was only my second time on this lake in my life...and the first time was last week prefishing......during prefish it kinda gave us a idea on what lure it was going to take to get some bites....so i started off throwing a yo-zuri crawfish 5/8oz lipless crank up around some docks and within the first 30 mins i put 3 keepers in the boat with one going 4.9lbs so i thought for sure i was on them...but things got really slow and didn't get another bite till 1 pm when we decieded to go back to the area that i picked up the 3 early and we decieded to pull back into alittle deeper water....10ft.....then we picked up another 3 with one of them going 5.3lbs which also took big bass of the tournment......we ended the tournment with 6 keepers for 17.13 lbs and i thought for sure we had a win cause everyone we talked to said how tuff it was on them....but there is always someone else catching them also.....first place had a limit of 8 keepers that went 19.63lbs.....during the tournment there was a total of 197.41 weighed in....we ended up cashing a check for $471 ....so not to bad a day on a lake i have never seen
