MY grandpa used nothing but an old calcutta rods with 60lb dacron line a real cork bobber a 5 ot hook that he would get from me. Used nothing but nightcrawlers. He could catch bass or Catfish. I never fished with anybody that could out fish him either. He would go boy you sure do waste allot of money on them new fangled gadgets. To think you never catch as many as i do. 2 weeks later i was fishing that way as well. I fished with him every week end on that muddy old river that summer. He died on Aug 31st of that year. I guess that'z why the old missouri river is so special to me.
