Don't know what it is called or who made it, but it is a topwater yellow/black stripped tiger minnow made of wood with propellers on the front/back. It's at least 35 years old. Still get's 'em in. I nearly grounded my boat trying to rescue it the other day from some shoreline shrubs.

Nip I Didee. Been catching a few on them lately too.
Have used a Johnson Silver Minnow before, but not within the past year. Robert, Devils Horse is a very common, well liked lure even today. We had a discussion about them recently, along with other propbaits.

Pop R I guess. I've got a few cranks in the box that are 20+ but don't really use them much.

Thank's WTL...Now that I know what it's called I'll do a search on it. I've been out of the game for 10 years or so and have just gotten back into fishing heavy, so I'm afraid I'm a bit rusty.

A old yellow Hula Popper. It is my good luck charm. Even if I don't catch anything on it. I cast it a couple oftimes then BINGO catch a fish on something else.

Hmm... oldest lure I throw is the devils horse. Although I haven't caught much on it, I still like any propellor lure and throw it frequently

unfortunately a couple years back we lost the majority of our tackle during a move so most the stuff we fish with is new

I fish mostly plastics so it is rare that a lure will last beyond 24 to 48 ours after it has been placed on the hook.
