Default God Bless the wives

Okay, for any of you who have read some of my previous threads, I have been known to make a joke or two about my bride. I may live in San Diego, but I started of as a farm boy in New Market, VA. To this day, I do not know how I won the heart of a blond bombshell California woman. (She is a former USC and 49er cheerleader). Of course, this also means that her idea of camping means room service. This has meant that she often frowns on my fishing. We went ONCE, when we were dating and it was not an enjoyable experience for either of us.
My wife has informed me that her Mom is comming to watch the kids Saturday evening so she and I can go fishing. We are heading up north and staying at resort cabin and then she got us a guided fishing trip. The guide is so (her words) I don't have to babysit her.
This is a great first step. Of course she is also looking at gucci boots online now that will work for the fishing outfit she HAS to buy for the trip.
Now there is a chance that she has upped my life insurance and I will meet a dreadful fate on the water, but I will chance it.

She must really love you or she is setting you up for season tickets to the opera or something really "girly".

Can you picture the bass boat in a snake skin finish , we would start to see a infulx of metrosexual bass fisherman which would lead to the rest of us taking up a new type of hunting haha

oh my god not liberal tree hugging homosexuals in fishing tournaments. They'll run all the Whiskey Tango trailer park rednecks out of fishing.

SO!

Lost the trasmission in the truck half way to the lake. While I did not get to make the fishing trip, it wasn't too bad. My wife and I found a bed and breakfast 15 miles up from the repair shop. I had suspected that this would be a great fishing weekend, but it turned into a sorta second honeymoon. No complaints from me, but don't ask for Pics....LMAO

Um..... Second honeymoon dont sound good to me. My wife got food poisoning and was barfin then min. after we got to the hotel. Oh by the way it was in the sink next to the bed so I spent an hour trying not to chuck my self and clean it up. Then it hapened again.
