i have a lowrance x135 up front on my boat and a humminbird side imaging at the console. i really like the 135, i can also see my bait on it while spooning or dropshotting. as a matter of fact, the other day i was crappie fishing and seen a crappie come up and hit a 1/16oz crappie jig on my graph.

eww stay away from the humming junkies.. lowrance or eagle are the best bang fer the buck.. a big high mounted depth finder only gets in the way.it will suck when ya nail it with something like a jig and bust it..
i use this eagle 168 cuda up front.. ![]() notice how the depfinder is low and out of the way.. call it experiance at busting them.. zooker

I have an X52 up front and a combo at the console, both Lowrance. Not all, but most guys like to stay with the same Mfg for both units so you don't have to learn two seperate units.

I thought the 565 was a very good choice ? I am sure someone here owns one, I just can't remember who it was ?

The Humminbird 565 looks like a good choice for the bow.
