New Jersey is 2.5B over budget...Corzine proposes cutting a whopping 813M to reduce it..So far so good(actually not near good enough).Then proposes to issue driving permits and free in-state college tuition to UNDOCUMENTED aliens.He hasn't even got the GUTS to call it like it is.ILLEGAL is the word here gov.**** all,I can't afford to send my kids to college and this dipstick has me paying tuition for ILLEGAL aliens.
Had to unload,I am so DANG pissed.My apologies, here's the soap box back.

These days, things are very hard on the middle class. The wealthy send their kids to college and they graduate with absolutely no debt. The poor get assistance, financial aid, and other help. We get nothing. Consequently, our children will graduate with a ton of debt that will follow them the rest of their lives. It isn't fair.

If the government wants to stimulate the economy, they could, at the very least, reduce the current student loan interest rates and allow students to refinance their student loans again. I suspect that if this happened, graduating students would buy new cars and houses.

Unfortunately, the government does very little to help the middle class. Our children will be in a lifetime of debt the day they step out of college. I believe that the eventually, there will be no middle class. Only the poor and the wealthy.

The State of Maine is no better...Taxes, taxes, taxes...and on top of it our reps meet for like 8 months out of the year making huge money to pass stupid bills..3800 in just '08..meanwhile our neighbors, New Hampshire meet only 4-6 weeks out of the year to take care of business and only take roughly a $100 a day for their service and then go back to their real jobs...N.H. is very similar to Maine and is run a whole lot more efficient
