Snow Pics from today

we got freezing rain all night but then all this snow dumped this morning.
Here are some pictures of my 8 months preggo daughter Kaci and Joel and one of our labs

We got a few inches of snow yesterday and then about 1/4 inch ice from all night drizzle, then it just dumped this fluffy wet snow and by noon moved on to the east coast area.

You guys got clobbered JB. My son told me today Ball State closed down for the day. THAT, rarely ever happens there. Hey, when the baby is born, post some pics for us. Also, thats a beautiful lab. We reccently adopted a chocolate colors german short haired pointer to be a playmate for our lab. They're quickly becomming good buddies. Hopefully we'll get past this white stuff in another 5-6 weeks and get back on the water!

JB, we didn't get any of the ice here like you did, but we did end up with 12" of fluffy snow, not the heavy snow that's good for snowball making.

The kids didn't have school and luckily the wife and I didn't have to venture out any further than the driveway and the backyard to push the snow off of my boat, yea I've got a good cover on it. My wife snaps these shots of our dog Kasey and my boat.

Weatherman said that its been 13 years since Indy has seen this much snow and I hope its another 13 before we see it again.

It sure does, but I'm planning on making it up to her come Springtime though. You know with the hotwax, new plugs and a whole lot of TLC.

Would you believe it, Kasey was at home out there playing in the snow. He's an Akita/German Shepherd mix that we keep inside, so he's always looking forward to busting out of the house whenever he gets the chance. lol

Ice did some one mention Ice?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have about 2" of the stuff. Trees down every where. Lots of folks without power. On the bright spot I have taken 3 days leave and have had a good time with my 2 youngens. Ohh yeah I got a little Yote huntin in too. I am gonna try work tomorrow.

Another 1/2 inch of snow here, and we've have had more snow this month than this month during the blizzard of 78.

My sister got her car stuck at the end of our driveway, and so did one of my neighbors.
The snow was close to 2ft high at the end of the driveways from the stupid snow plow.

Some cools pics of snow drifts and such.

Here's the sheltered side of our small decorative pond. It's got some koi in it somewhere under the ice.

Between out neighbor's fence.

And the corner of out pole-barn. Where the wind blows around. Note the green(ish) stuff. I think it's called grass, but I haven't seen any in a long time, so I'm not sure.

by the way, that drift on front of the fence if about 3 feet tall.

snow drifts.... We used to go out drift bustin' when I was in high school, find a good parking lot, or an old country road and have the snow just flying over the hood. Oh, the stupid things we did.
