Default BPS - narrowly avoided monkey attack!

Oh man... I almost got hit bad tonight. We took the trolling motor over to the repair shop at BPS, and decided since we were there, to looks around.

Picked up some X-raps, including a smaller XR-6, man is it little. I got some Chompers 4" DS worms, and holy crap, are they garlicy. Anyone ever try them before? My dad got some Stren mono and with the rebate they've got going now, he'll have paid a little under a buck a spool. Not bad.

So we went to look at reels. I have..er... HAD one more gift certificate from Christmas left, and a bit of cash from my neighbors for shoveling their driveway throughout the winter. Anyways, we looked at some spinning reels, and I was about ready to put all my stuff back and buy either a Pflueger president or a Daiwa Exceler... With a little help, I was able to beat the monkey.

They were packed cause of the boatshow that started yesterday, so we went and looked at boats too. They've got an awesome looking yellow Nitro X4. Very nice boat. That and X5 seem to be really wide for the short length compared to some bigger boats. they're both 17'4" boats, and both have 90" beams.
