Plan your fishing around the water temps that you find. The lake I fish the temps range from 50 to 70 degrees. We can have fish spawning in late Feb and March when they normally don't spawn until April or May. Don't be afraid to throw topwater either.

No, but I hear night fishing in them is great. The fish are easy to see-they give off a nice green glow!

Seriously, I have fished power plant lakes. Near the hot water discharge you can get some great topwater action in the dead of winter due to the warm water.

i ahve never fished a lake like that but if they have hot water all year they might be going deep.... im not really sure but to catch big fish i would fish deep near a dropoff or find some deep structure.... have fun in your new boat
