Well it all started out in Minnesota where I had to run to Pure Fishing (Berkley) and look at their outlet store. Only 4 packs of Shaky Worms. However they did have Fenwick Elite Tech rods for $90 and a bunch of line if you were willing to spend the time. Not a bad start.
Then Friday came, the return home. After a 4-hour stop at the BPS in Detroit and $150 later it was time to head home. 3 spools of line, another LC pointer, jig heads, weights, 3 spinnerbaits, and a couple of other things. While there I did get to meet KVD and Hank Parker and had them sign my new hat Then came Saturday. At this point I think KVD thinks I’m a stalker. Saw another seminar he put on at D & R Sports (his brothers store). Which was great, he talked about the Classic, and local fishing spots. Well, they had the Tour KVD CB rod there and had a regular price of $129.99 and then because he was there it was on sale for $109.99. Had to buy it. After a picture with Kevin, he signed my new rod. To my surprise my girlfriend wants me to get another one so I can hang this one up on the wall!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() So, the monkey got me good this weekend….. |

I saw KVD on my small romp to the BPS in Perrysburg, OH yesterday. I went there right around the opening time, around 10:00, and was gone by 11:30. I didn't know it was there Spring sale and expo week, but on my way home on 80-90 (northern Ohio), I saw KVD drivin' his 'yota to the BPS. Missed him by minutes. I did get to see Parsons and a musky pro though.
While talking to a classmate at school today, she said her brother saw and met KVD, and got his auto. ![]() -Buzz |

Looks like you did well.
KVD must be making big $$$ this winter because he's been everywhere signing product. I wonder if he gets a percentage on the Sexy shad crankbaits sold. Now that would be a sweet deal. |

Is that rod the new KVD composite rod? Did you string it up and use it (I know you were hesitant since KVD autographed the rod). If you used the rod, do you like it (I am always hunting for good crankbait rods)?

It is his new rod, the 7'M. As for using it, no. We still have A LOT of hard water up here. I still have to wait for the Revo as well. The one thing I can't beleive is how light it is and for the price that I picked it up at you can't beat it. |
