Default fishin this weekend was horrible

it was a hard bite no mater were i went down in nc i got 4 only 1 legal (just shy of 3lb) just got back form day in va and got 1 about 12 in
i gess water still to cold or i just wasent holden my mouth right
next weekend tryen agen up at chic lake here in va

it's all the above pal. for me as well. i did get my first bass of the year though, a little ol 12 incher. good fight too. maybe next weekend huh?

It was rough for me out here as well. Saw a bunch on the beds but they are not protecting them yet. Managed two on buzz bait early and then one on an orange and yellow spinner. My fishing partner caught 12 with nightcralwers. I just couldn't bring myself to throw one on.

all the ones in nc were on spinners and the one in va was on a red lizerd water temps around 50 to 54 and like you i could see them in the shallows but they just wernt hungrey

I didnt even get a bite this weekend. It was two nice days out though, and I dont feel so bad cause everyone that was out that I talked to got skunked also.

But it was a nice weekend to go outside.

It was tough for me at Lake Anna this weekend. 2 fish in 2 days. One was a 4 lber though but still... Thought we would do better then that!!!

it was tough for me in south ms..me my cousin and my little brother caught three fish in 6 hours of fishin..we caught a 5 1/2, a 3 1/2 pounder and a little dink not even a pound..

well i don't feel so bad now. if next weekend is nice i will have to show myself i can still catch bass and did not forget over the winter. i just wish chic lake wasent so shallow can't find a good topo on the net for free so i gess i got to buy one form bps to find the spots
