Default Cocoons? 9and lens color question)

My glasses come with magnetic clip-ons, and although they are polarized, they are very light, easy to lose, and don't cover a wide area of vision. I'm thinking about getting a pair of Cocoons for fishing this year and wondered if anyone has used them. I know they're less expensive than a lot of polarized sunglasses, which is good for me So, are they good?

And is Gray/Black the best all around lens color choice?

i have two pair the grey/black and the yellow lens..

i drilled a hole in the ear piece and added my favorite glasses holder..once they are over your glasses they wont fly off but they do tend to push your hat up..

i use the yellow ones at night they really lighten things up..

I know the yellow is good for low light, I use yellow safety glasses when we play airsoft at night or in dark conditions.

I was thinking about these, but I'd go to BPS and try them on first.

i have tried the sunglasses over my eyeglasses too. but i can't stand the added weight and it really hurts my ears. i use the spring shades from wally world, 10 bucks each. they come in different shades of polarization too. they fit right over my frames and i love em. although i haven't seen any in amber, just different shades of blue and brown. want to find em in mirror finished too, but haven't found that either. and yes i can see in the water with them. not as good as some other shades, but good enough for me.

if you want a decent pair of polarized sunglasses, get calcuttas...i had a pair last year, that lasted me all summer even thought i treated em like crap.
plus there only 20$

It doesn't look that great, but I bound mine to my glasses with a thin strip of velcro. Wrapped it around both nose pieces. (If you do this, put the fuzzy side out)
It does have the taped up broken glasses look, but it gave me peace of mind.

I have worn the mid-sized Cocoons for several years and really like them. I appreciate the fact that they prevent light from seeping in from the sides which really helps me. I haven't seen the yellow ones but will investigate for sure. Mine are Amber and dark gray-green and I like both. I have even skied with them on occasion and the ambers lighten up the flat light conditions.

Cocoons are the best brand I have found so far.Lizardsrule gave me the set I have been using after my other pair was lost.I use the dark lense instead of the amber.

I've got a pair that I keep in my truck in case I lose my regular glasses but I haven't had to use them yet.
