Default As luck should have it

while out thursday evening, floating around a small lake in Holly Michigan, with my trusty fishng partner, Wags, checking our little aluminum baby out for leaks as we attempting to sell her. of course we have to bring the rods and throw a few, its been a long winter. so we were ummm, pike fishing, yeah, and apparently someone else missed us instead of the pike, lol. this little girl stumbled upon my shallow diving crank, huh, not bad for the first fish of the year.

by "Pike fishing" I'm sure you meant "fishing for REALLY big crappie." Check the regs. : )

Nice fish anyway, just a few more weeks brother.

Welcome DFA! The laws really don't make sense to me but you are right, only panfish and carp are in season. That's why I'm headed to Indiana this weekend.
Nice accidental catch though!

Hello Kennsandy, long winter in Rhode Island too. That fight must have got the ya yas flowing. Us Northeners always love that first one, good for the soul.
