When you are out fishing with your buddy it is always fun to get a double, its great, however, i was fishing sunday by myself and i was at a small pond....They were not bitting well so i put some live worms on a bobble and let it sit out there for a while....I was sitting in a chair because i am lazy and i had the bobble rod laying across my lap and i was fishing a log with another log on the other side of the pond...I am sitting there working it and i just drop the lizard off the log and i notice my bobble moving...so i sit my other rod down and pick my other rod up and the fish goes away so i lay it back on my lap and pick up my other rod...I start working it and bam i get a hit so i am working it back to me and i see my booble go under so i had to make a decision....I was standing up at this point and i put the rod i was working underneath my arm with tension and i grab the other rod and i set the hook...So at this point I am confused...I do not know what to do, so i get the other rod and finish reeling the first fish up while trying to keep tension on the other rod which is underneath my other arm...I get the first one up, which was a little over 2lbs. and i start to work the other one and it jumped up and threw the hook, (it was about a lb. or so)....But i was disappointed...That will propbably be my last shot for something like that!!!!
