Default Yet another question from a rank newb (tm related)

I've only had 1 foot steered TM in my life, so I dont know if this is the norm....

I have trouble steering the TM and keeping it straight above speed 2. When I am moving fast the TM will start to turn and then I lose control.

Is there an adjustment in the cable or friction for this? Could this be (I'm sure it is in part) the result of putting a MinnKota head on an OMC shaft?

i am not sure of the adjustment on the tension.. iknow some that are a bear to turn some are easy.. mine is fairly easy..

my question is how are you running it?? are you using the constaint "on" switch?? or pulsing it?.. if your pulsing the moter the prop is too big.. make sure your out board is in the drink and straight.. this helps you track straight.. turning the wheel also is usful to keep off the docks in windy conditions...

Outboard is always straight. This thing isn't difficult to turn, but when you start turning it under good power it will keep turning till its all the way around. So there is this point where under power, if you turn it too much you have the motor go all the way around.

I might have to show you in Kentucky for you to understand.
