I was doing honey do list work today and at 1 pm I decided I would ride up to Smith Mountain Lake and watch the weigh-in. Since I am unemployed at the moment everyone was at work I grabbed my dog Dakota and off we went 1hr and 15min. We get there and "NO PETS ALLOWED"
![]() ![]() It wasn't BASS that made the rule, it was the marina. We have put in there about 10 times in the past but had never been down far enough to see the signs.

hahaha, well ya got lucky lash. yea... our dog gallie is a chick magnet to. lisa doesn't mind though. EVERYBODY wants to see and pet the old man (not me you crazies, the dog, lol). very few have ever seen a tri colored collie around here it seems. when ever we go into a bps and have the dog, we are there for 4 hrs, lol, can't hardly shop for folks wanting to pet him. i don't mind though. he is a great ol man. almost 12, and getting too old to go running around alot. he gts tired real easy now a days. gonna be one of the saddest days when he passes. take your pet to bps, they don't mind it one bit.

With a no dog rule, Steve Kennedy will have a problem. His dog, Louie, is at all the weigh-ins.
