Dudley do right
Read something one time that said that david dudley always uses a heavy action rod no matter what he is using and like 20 pound line. I also heard that Rick Clunn does the same thing. They do this as to get a feel for their tackle. What do you guys have to say on that. They do use spinning thought for the lightest of offerings.

Clunn keeps all his rods and reels the same(gear ratio, length, etc.) but I don't think he keeps the same line size.
