Default pond fishing slow

last year i started fishing this small pond maybe 150 yards long by 60 yards across. i didn't start fishing it till mid summer so i can't say what the fishing was like this time of the year but i know that last year i could go out and throw any thing from top water to soft plastics, to spinnerbaits and nail the bass. went out today and caught 2 nice bass 3-4 lbs. and 2 small bass under 9 inches. nothing was working until i started throwing a 3 1/2 inch craw t-rig weightless and walked it across the top of the water and then let it sink a little. i think i could have caught bass on other baits had i fished them as long as i did the craw. i was disapointed because the bigger ponds where just starting to heat up and i figured i would kill them today.

i was thinking maybe it was just one of those days? and i am going to head back out tomorrow morning around 8. my question is what would you start fishing with?
