What do you use to tune a crankbait, other than pliers??

I like to use the new Bandit 700 series crankbaits, they work great on the ledges of KY lake. Problem is, the way they are made it is very hard to tune them with a set of pliers. The pull point is down in the diving bill and it is impossible to get to. Do they make a tool that is specifically for tuning cranks?

Yes, and they're cheap and work very well. Go to Bass Pro Shops and type this in the keyword box: tuning key

I have heard of people using valve stem removers for tires.

There is also a pair of pliers from Rapala that have a slot to tune crankbaits.

You can also shave the plastic on the bill, the opposite side that its turning towards. I use to do this on cranks that had the eye halfway into the lure, if you bent or turned the eye it cracked the lure.
