Say two guys are going head to head in a fishing challenge. How are you going to outfish the other if your in the same boat. Say there is no first cast advantage to new spots. ;D

Whom ever pays the most attention to the conditions will always always win..
Plus the guy up front gets to cast to a new spot before you get there, if your sitting in the back..... |

Where that fish was located when ya caught him can be your starting pattern
Also note weather changes, it effects the bite, it could be good under cloudy skys and turn off if bright blue skies come through with a front...not always..but something to consider |

dont count on luck.....luck is for people who dont know how to fish.....you put lure where the bass are and you will get the bass most times. 8)

Yes, luck can play a very large part, especially in a single outing. The more outings and the greater period of time of the competition, luck's role is reduced and skill increases. |
