Default Roadkill, what was that?!

Alright, my dad and I were on our way home this morning and I was driving. I noticed some weird animal on the side of the road. As we got closer, I though it looked like a fish. As we pass it, I did get a good look at it. Turns out, it was a catfish, looking close to 8lbs.

lol, how this got in the side of the road in the middle of Toledo, I have no clue. Just had to share this.

They're evolving at a rapid pace. They plan to overthrow Barack Obama.

That one is a cross with the Northern Snakehead and it crawled it's way up from the Potomac. I've heard that they eat small children......

My guess would be that the person put it in the back of the pickup, or on top of the car. After putting away his fishing gear, forget about it and drove off.
Things don't stay glued to you car, or truck. I did that with a pair of glasses, put then on the car while putting away fishing gear, and drove off. When I seen I didn't have them, went looking, never found them.

I unhooked the trailer lock from my dad's truck once and set the keys on his bumper after fishing. I put the boat away and went back in the house. Later that night, we went to work on something at his work and got in the truck and drove the 5 miles there. when we got there, he asked me were his keys were (because, of course, the keys to the shop were on the same key ring, along with his house key.) I went and looked where I put them on the bumber and they were still there! I was shocked and VERY relieved.

Had a similar experience about a month ago. Had to do one last job for the day much closer to my house than my shop.
Parked my car in our locked yard and headed to the job. figuring I would drive home from the job in the company truck. Stopped at a store, which was about 20 miles away and almost to the job, and there were my car keys, sitting on the truck tool box.

I was at a boat ramp about 2 years ago when I saw something about the same size I couldnt identify.

After staring at it for several minutes I finanlly realized someone had taken a huge snapping turtles shell off. Why i dont know.

Never seen one of them, but we have mud puppy's , Don't know the teck. name. They can live in water, or on land, most in water. You get one on whan fishing, and they will walk back to the water.
We won't even touch them, only about 6", but they are strange. Cut their head off, then toss the hook.

Went catfishing once with my cousin. We caught like 25 nice channel cats and put them into three Styrofoam coolers in the back of his toyota, which doesn't have a tailgait, so we bungied them in. Well, while driving up a hill to get away from the lake, the fish started flopping and destroyed the coolers. We had to cut strips out of old shirts to make enough rope to make a stringer that could go between the sides and hold all the fish. .

I heard a knock at the door one day and it was raining really hard. So I opened the door to see who it was, and no one was there. So I sat back down and then heard the knock again, opened the door....Nothing! For some weird reason I looked down and it was a catfish!!! Sucker was trying to get in for some warm Ovaltine I guess, but I didn't have any. So I put him in the lawn. Crazy walking catfish!

I don't think we have any walking catfish up here. If I had to guess, it was a channel cat. still very weird, lol

lol! That's crazy!

Every dog I've ever had chases 'em and plays with them! It's fun to watch! Once I found a walker with half it's body sticking out of the dirt... my dog buried it! lol!!
