A couple bass on some new gear

So I went out last night for 45 minutes to test out some new tackle that I got. I went over to a local public park, not the most ideal place for bass fishing...it's got two big fountains in it and is probably only 1 or 2 acres, but it's the only productive water nearby. This was my first time using fluorocarbon line, I just bought P-Line CX Premium Fluoro and spooled it on my Sedona. So far I'm impressed by it, smooth casting, low memory and it was cheap (1000 yards for $16). I love to drop shot, and after watching kevin's video I decided to order some roboworms. So I used them for the first time last night along with Kanji tungsten DS weights (3/16 oz.). The action on the roboworms is great, I was using a 4.5'' straight tail in the aaron's magic color. Another good thing is that they float so if a bass throws your worm off the hook you can get it back. So back to the fishing, I was able to catch two small guys including this fat boy, he put up a nice little fight including a couple aerial stunts. All in all I would say It was a good way to start the night.

Nice fish man! What model Mojo did you get, and how do you like it?

Oh, and P-line CX isn't quite a fluorocarbon. It's copolymer. Clear like fluoro, yet limper and good knot strength like mono. P-line fluoroclear is also a great copolymer. While not quite is "invisible" as true fluoro, copolys are more managable.

It's the 6'9'' ML Xtra fast tip, drop shot specific. It's very nice, super sensitive and light.

Oh alright I didnt know that about the line, but it has worked out fine so no complaints.

Nice fish! I have the same line on my Shimano Sedona. I like it a lot....after I worked it out a little bit.

Update!

Went back to the same spot tonight again for a quick 45 min session. USed the same DS rig with the same aaron's magic robo worm. Caught myself two more bass on back to back cast about 20 min in. Sizes were similar to the last outing one around 15" the other around 10".

Here's the 15 incher, I noticed he was missing an eye on the other side to a didn't take a picture of that side
